Jo Johnson
I was born in the Staffordshire Moorlands and attended Westwood High School in Leek. I began my legal career in 1991 working for a small high street Solicitors’ practice in Macclesfield where I was employed as a trainee Legal Executive. After qualifying as a Legal Executive I continued with my studies to qualify as a Solicitor, a Resolution Accredited Specialist Family Lawyer and a Collaborative Lawyer.
During my long career, I have worked at several solicitors practices ranging from small rural firms to large commercial practices locally and in Manchester. I wish to provide a fresh modern approach to the way that Family Law is delivered to the local community.

I was born in Staffordshire but spent my teenage years in Plymouth, Devon. I returned to the Midlands to attend Birmingham University where I obtained my Law Degree. I attended Staffordshire University to complete the Legal Practice Course and obtained a training contract at a small firm in Leek. It was whilst undertaking my training contract that I first met Jo. We worked together for two years and developed a strong friendship during this time.
I qualified as a Solicitor in 2006 and then joined a large Solicitor’s practice in this area where I stayed for 10 years. In July 2017, I was delighted to join Jo Johnson Family Law as an Assistant Solicitor, providing assistance to Jo in relation to her clients and caseload.
